phagus within was in fact a carbonite block with the occupant in hibernation. The occupant had been carefully placed in the block- No accident, no crime, judging from what could be seen from the out the occupant had planned the process as much as a month in advance, including the use of specialized 'burial' shroud ideal for carbonite hibernation.
On the bulkhead of the 'tomb' was a double bladed Lightsaber- A Syhith weapon. An REF Marine Lt. Col. who made up the investigation team ordered everyone to get behind him before he activated the weapon, both expecting it not to and believing it would be red and double bladed if it did (in which case he didn't want anyone to be in front of the blade).
It was no small surprise when only one blade came out- "Purple" he told the others carefully, "What the Hell is that?" It would be a year before the answer came.
Further examination of the "sarcophagus" that wasn't a sarcophagus at all revealed writing on the bottom; The Lt. Col. could make out an ancient word for "Mandalorian" and surmised the occupant wanted the universe to believe she was a Mandalorian, in the hopes they'd then wake her. Testing revealed the chamber had been closed for at least 5 million years- No one had ever been awakened from carbonite after anything near that long by at least three orders of magnitude. Before proceeding any further, a Garudan was brought in to try to determine the condition of the occupant.
The Garudan, Sergeant Major Kwoh BHOT, determined that the occupant was still alive and in perfect hibernation- And aware of their presence. He reported that she was afraid and hopeful. With this, the Lt. Col. ordered that no one was to touch the carbonite slab without his orders and further ordered that the controls for the slab be covered to prevent accidental activation.
The rest of the contents were carefully removed after thorough recording every possible detail. The slab was then carried out and up to a ship in orbit and taken to the UGC's reservation. At this point the Mando'a and Grand Master of the Geh 'Dia Council were invited to come or send representatives to examine the artifact and help determine what to do with her. Both sent several representatives.
In the viewing room Geh 'Dia tried to claim the body, touching off a micro crisis as the Lt. Col. drew down on the head of the Geh 'Dia, whereupon the other Marines drew on the Geh 'Dia and the Geh 'Dia drew their Lightsabers and prepared for battle with each other. The Mandalorians asked if this had anything to do with them, and when the Galactiques said no the Mandalorian excused themselves.
Guns and Lightsabers drawn, the two groups agreed the body wasn't to be released without all three groups present, but no matter what came out she belonged to the Galactiques- If they lost control of her, the Geh 'Dia could then deal with her, but were still forbidden to kill her. The Garudan and several of the Geh 'Dia present reported a sense of hope from the subject; "She senses our presence, and she senses one of us is willing to die to protect her. That gives her hope that whatever is happening, she'll be ok."
"And she will be. Marines, low ready, Geh 'Dia Master send your peo..."
With that she was scheduled for de-carbonization a few days later. Each of the three factions kept one sentinel watching the slab all day every day until it was time to revive her. As the machinery reversed the carbon freezing she emerged. She began speaking, but realized that she could not see nor hear. After several days she'd recovered enough to give her story; Her name was Reva SEVANDER, Force-sensitive who served as a member of the Forgotten Empire's Inquisitorius under the title of Third Sister with orders to hunt down the Geh 'Dia, but had been using that position to get close to a Geh 'Dia who'd betrays the Geh 'Dia Order and massacred them. She was a child at the time and wanted revenge for her friends. She never got the chance and instead walked away from everything. She'd gone into carbon freezing in the hopes that in a few decades the empire would collapse and someone would free her. Clearly her plan didn't pan out as hoped, if she'd spent 5 million years in the crypt.
     Biography
     Early Life
A Force-sensitive female born around 31 BBY, Reva SEVANDER was once a Geh 'Dia who lived at the Temple training to become a Geh 'Dia when the betrayal came. Her group made their way through the temple as the Geh 'Dia Master protected them from the clones until she was killed by them. SEVANDER was stabbed but survived and hid under the corpses of the other younglings in the group she was with. After being impaled by the Syhith Lord, she later received cybernetic replacements due to the injury.
She escaped the massacre and facing extreme survivor's guilt turned to the dark side. To get revenge on the traitor she willingly joined the new regime as an Inquisitor to get close to him. She was tasked with hunting the last of the old regime though her specific actions in the name of the Galactic Empire remain a mystery. At some point she became fixated on bringing a particular Geh 'Dia to the traitor as part of her plan to kill the traitor. When this failed she let go of her past, reassured that she had not failed and fallen to the dark side but had brought peace and honor to the fallen younglings and was now free to choose her own destiny. With that Reva chose to be free.
     Personality And Traits
SEVANDER was highly ambitious with brown eyes, dark skin, and black hair, which she wore in a braided ponytail with cornrows on the sides and extremely skilled with her lightsaber in both Jar'Kai and Form II, even effectively able to block blasts from a airspeeder. She was a keen and capable hunter whose possessed considerable athleticism and proficiency with many weapons, including throwing knives. She possessed hidden depths displaying the ability to use the Force in levitation and control and to extract information from the minds of individuals and collapse an antenna tower, but her dueling abilities were somewhat inferior and she was somewhat weak against other Force-users. She was unpredictable and extremely violent, often making threats and even dismemberment for lack of respect.
     Equipment
Before she became a Geh 'Dia hunter, she had possession of a droid. This was taken from her like most of her past belongings and acquaintances. During her time as an Inquisitor she wore black plastoid armor with a cape and wielded a red-bladed Inquisitor lightsaber. The lightsaber's hilt was customized to split in half. At some point she adopted a brown cloak that she wore over her uniform which was found in her 'tomb' though not in a condition to b

e used. During her career she dedicated to Lightsaber only use, but later in life adopted "anything that works."
     Armor
As an Inquisitor Reva wore black armor and a cape; Reva's armor was a largely standard Inquisitorius set cut to female anatomy. They typical minor discrepancies between individual owners could be seen in addition to distinctive markings of battle damage and repairs to damage. Her right shoulder carried a typical Forgotten Empire emblem, but he left shoulder did not; Most other suits of the Inquisitorius had the emblem on both, but upon closer inspection it was discovered the two espaliers were not identical- In fact the left espalier was a home made replacement using plastoid from another suit (based on the thickness most likely an infantry cuirass).
The armor is extremely limited by infantry standards, with only a cuirass, gorget, partial vambrace, a plate for the back of the hand, and greaves. One investigator put it, "It's like they took marine body armor and cut down anything they didn't need, except these weird plates we keep seeing on the back of the hands that don't serve any purpose." An unibody undersuit provided additional protection from weapons and the environment.
     Personal Force Field
Unusual by force users, Reva used personal force field generators, a kit she appeared to have made herself. The generators were hidden in her belt buckle and left vambrace. Computer modelling shows they were capable of defecting 'multiple' Lightsaber strikes and about 6 to 8 E-11 blasts, or one E-Web blast.
     Personal Weapons
Reva had a collection of personal weapons; She was fond of both Lightsabers and blasters.
     Lightsaber
Reva's Lightsaber was a standard Inquisitorius double bladed lightsaber with a hand guard. When her 'tomb' was discovered, the lightsaber was activated to see if it worked at all and if so what color it was- Red was expected, but the blade that appeared was purple, indicating a redeemed Syhith. The lightsaber was otherwise unremarkable save minor damage normal to a weapon of this type.
     Blasters
A case of a dozen E-11 infantry blasters, a pair of T-21 Light Repeating Blasters, and an E-Web were found in the 'tomb' in addition to a case of personal force field generators and dozen of magazines for the E-11's and a half-dozen T-21 magazines. Curiously there wasn't a generator for the E-Web nor was there any tibanna gas. After reviving she explained that the guns were for her use, but she chose not to bring generators or tibanna because she realized whoever woke her up wouldn't give her the chance to use them- She'd have to trust to the Force and failing that her Lightsaber. After her resuscitation and being brought up to date on the universe, Reva switched to E-16's with sub-posed plasma launchers.
     Shuttle
Reva's shuttle was a Phi-Class command shuttle. The ship appeared to have been modified for transporting carbonite slabs (a typical method of transporting captives that can not be transported in normal conditions). How the shuttle ended up on Concordia Dawn while Reva remained half a galaxy away was a mystery Reva only partial knows and is refusing to say what she does. There is no evidence the shuttle was ever on the planet she was found on.
     Droids
Reva's 'tomb' contained a non-functional L0LA-AG, a once common model of toy droids slightly bigger than a child's hand. It was later found that Reva's possessions had all been taken away from her when she was first captured; It left much confusion how she acquired later in life or why. Once revived Reva explained she's gotten the droid not long after escaping the Inquisitorius as a part of her personal healing- A memento of her childhood.
     Other Equipment
In Reva's 'tomb' was a variety of equipment, including a belt with a Lightsaber catch and holster, as well as a buckle that hid a personal force field generator. A full space suit conversion kit and a one man pod with a cryogenic kit capable of travelling across a given solar system was tucked into a corner but had clearly been stripped for parts which was confirmed as Reva's own action. Tucked into the pod was simple camping equipment though for what purpose was unclear. Reva refused to anser the question, saying only that it didn't matter anymore.
"Delta one one, Delta one eight."
The Marine's head twitched slightly. "One eight, go ahead."
"You might want to come down here, we found something unexpected."
He knew his team well enough to know not to argue on the radio. They were wrong, but they weren't saying it on the air for a reason, and that reason had to be looked at. "Damn. Ok, Bross hold the perimeter while I go find out what this is about" he called out annoyed.
"Aye aye Colonel" a power armored trooper replied with the enthusiasm of someone who knew his duty too far too well.
About a minute later he was inside the tunnel walking up to the lights. "Ok, what this all about?" The power armored trooper just pointed at a spot along the tunnel bulkhead. She couldn't speak. He turned his head the direction indicated- And stopped. There sat a carbonite slug- With a woman in it. Next to her was a double bladed lightsaber- A Syhith weapon. "Oh" he answered.
"I saw her no big deal, but then I saw- that" the Marine whimpered.
The Colonel didn't' respond to that right away. He saw it just as clearly as she did, and it was 'unsettling' him too. "Alright. Ok, get behind me" he order and lifted the glass cover off the artifact. Chances were it wouldn't do anything. It'd clearly been here a LONG time and it might break jsut for trying, but he ignited it just the same- "Purple" he announced. "What the Hell is that?" after a moment he commanded the Corporal "Check the controls for vitals" while he checked the database.
The female trooper did as ordered- "It's dark, sir." Leaning her head over to look at him she added "This thing's been off line a long time."
After a moment's hesitation the Colonel looked up. "My pda isn't telling me anything... Take her to the ship. Belay that- Document everything before you move her. I want every angle possible."
After a few dozen photos the Corporal called out "Sir? There's markings on the back."
"Hmm?" The Colonel twisted around to examine them. "Oh. Take extra photos of that and sent them to me immediately Corporal." A moment later they started scrolling across his smartglasses as his pda tried to process the glyphs. "Huh. They're reminiscent of Mandalorian language. Corporal, forward the images to the ship right away. As soon as you have the pictures, move her to the ship right away." The Corporal acknowledged the order while the Colonel got on the radio. "Delta one three, Delta one one."
     "One three, go."
"Get the ship ready for launch. We're departing with 2 packages."
     "Roger."
From the tunnel he could hear the engines winding up. "Her sir?"
     "And the lightsaber."
"Aye aye sir" the corporal answered uncomfortably.
"I'll take care of that. You just get her out of here."
"Thank you sir" she responded, grateful to avoid the cursed item.
The trip home was mostly uneventful; Digging around in the Mandalorian's back yard without permission wasn't really a good idea, especially when it was on the frontier with one of the petty Syhith Lady's and yet somehow they'd made it. One customs check at Concord Dawn which was deferred when they checked the ship's credentials was as bad as it got. "Nobody told us Galactiques would be in the area."
"Sorry about that. You were supposed to be. You know how these things are sometimes."
     "Very well, carry on."
Back at The REF Reservation the carbonite was examined carefully. The glyphs on the underside of the artifact was finally decoded, an ancient version of Mandalorian declaring it "A Mandalorian Warrior" but no further details.
"Colonel, you know perfectly well no Mandalorian has ever legitimately wielded a lightsaber" Admiral RICHARDS declared.
"Aye ma'am, and I don't even pretend to understand" he answered as enthusiastically as possible. "I propose ma'am that we invite the Grand Master and Mand'alor to come and inspect her or send a representatives."
"Taken under advisement" the Admiral replied though it was clear she'd already made up her mind to do exactly that. "I'll deal with the invitations myself."
"Ma'am. In the meantime I've assigned a security detail to ensure nobody even looks at her. They're under orders not to touch the slab without myself being present."
"Good. At least two at a time."
     "Three ma'am."
     "Very good. Carry on."
Within the week the first representees arrive, a half dozen from each of the factions arriving within seconds of one another. Whether by happenstance or agreement nobody really knew, and they didn't ask. Geh 'Dia and Mandalorians had a very long history and it wasn't always good, so they were landed at separate fields to prevent a misunderstanding. The two groups were warned about the other as they were lead into the chamber. Both groups met in the chamber itself.
The Geh 'Dia Master spoke first. "She's Geh 'Dia."
RIZZAH'K, the Mandalorian Al'verde, examined the slab. "She's not Mandalorian. We have no claim here."
"She has 'A Mandalorian Warrior' written on the bottom" the Admiral countered.
"I don't care if it says Mand'alor, she's no Mandalorian. We have no claim here."
"We'd appreciate if you stayed anyways, at least until we know for certain" the Admiral replied. There was no 'request' in her voice, but no threat either- After all, there wasn't much she could do if they did choose to leave.
But the Mandalorians took the hint. "No, we're curious how this ends."
     "Excellent."
"They needn't stay, we'll be taking her immediately" the Geh 'Dia countered.
"The Hell you will" the Admiral answered.
That was all it took; The Colonel drew his sidearm, a M-27. The Admiral barely caught it out of the corner of her eye, but the Geh 'Dia noticed much more emphatically; All 6 of them drew their lightsabers, which was met by the other Marines drawing down on the Geh 'Dia.
Both sides knew a stalemate of sorts had occurred; The Geh 'Dia couldn't use their force powers against the Marines, but they could use their powers to deflect the shots long enough to counter strike. This battle could go either way. The impasse was almost broken when a Marine spoke up; "Sir..."
     "Standby" the Colonel answered.
"No I felt it too" one of the Geh 'Dia replied.
     "Felt what?" the Admiral asked.
"If it's all the same to you, we have nothing to do with this. I want my people out of here so they don't get blamed for it."
The Admiral answered carefully. "You please stay, the rest can wait in the passageway, please do. As for yourself, get by the door in case this does change."
As the Mandalorians began shifting their positions the Marine began. "I felt something come off of her, Colonel. A feeling, a sense."
"Hope" the Geh 'Dia answered, almost as if one calm voice. The Master continued; "She senses our presence, and she senses one of us is willing to die to protect her. That gives her hope that whatever is happening, she'll be ok."
"And she will be. Marines, low ready, Geh 'Dia Master send your people out you stay." The Geh 'Dia began filing out while the Colonel continued. "Marines, wait in the passageway outside."
"I propose" The admiral began even as some of the Geh 'Dia and Marines were still in the compartment "that one member of each stands sentry until we can figure this situation out."
The Mandalorian answered first. "I didn't bring enough people to do that for very long. A day, maybe two tops."
"Can you call for more people?"
"It'll take a few days but yes."
"Ok. I apologize in advance to your people. Call one of yours in so you can step out to start making the watch rotation." Turning to the Geh 'Dia Master she continued. "And you?"
"That sounds acceptable. I too will need to call for more people, but that shouldn't take too long."
"Alright then. Colonel, step out into the passageway and set the first watch."
In the passageway the Colonel barked out. "Sergeant Major, with me. The rest of you, go to the end of the pway." Once they'd moved off the Colonel began. "Set a watch routine, one Marine every six hours. Pick someone to stand the first watch. And hey- Once me and the Admirals' backs are turned, tell them to set up a sabacc game. You know, to keep everyone calm. I'll give you the credits to play, game resets every watch."
The Sergeant Major smiled and nodded knowingly. "Yes sir. Forget the creds sir, they'll just play for points."
"That's a better idea, Sergeant Major. Carry on."
The negotiations were tense but productive. An agreement was made that the REF would take custody of the woman, but the Geh 'Dia could ask her anything they wanted. The Mandalorians continued not wanting any part of it.
After a few weeks they finally came to a plan to safely waken the subject. As her carbonite slowly glowed over three days she steadily came out.
She tried to speak, but nothing came out; Then her hand flung out. Her head began shifting back and forth- It only took a moment for everyone to realize. "She's blind" one of the nurses said. "Hibernation sickness." The nurse grabbed the woman by her midsection and helped her into a wheelchair, then put a finger in the woman's hand. "Squeeze my hand twice if you can hear me." With a moment's hesitation she announced "She can't hear either."
One of the Geh 'Dia moved forward and place his hand on her shoulder, staring at her head. "I think I've made contact with her, made her understand we're friends trying to help her. She won't tell me much, only asking who I am, and when I let her know she became very afraid."
"Then back away from her" the Colonel suggested.
"I've told her I'm not going to hurt her. She seems to understand. She's... confused. I'm not sure what about."
"She's come out of carbonite freezing, THAT'S what she's confused about" RIZZAH'K answered.
The Colonel stood there. "Tell her that for her safety we must bind her to the gurney." The Geh 'Dia stared at the woman for a moment. She attempted to stand, then fell back into the chair. The nurses moved quickly to help her into the gurney as the Colonel put the handcuffs on her right wrist and the gurney rails. "Tell her that as long as she cooperates, that's all I'm going to do to her."
Again the Geh 'Dia stared at the woman. "I think she understands. I think she senses you were the one who was ready to die to protect her."
"No more than you were, let's just wait and see what she eventually does tell us."
After a couple of months of recovery she was finally able to speak. "My name is Reva. I was a member of an order of Syhith who were dispatched to hunt down the Geh 'Dia. I was attempting to get close to the leader of the Syhith so I could kill him. I failed." Over the next few days she gave her full story- And the meaning of the purple lightsaber. "It means a Bogan who's turned back to Ashla."
"So a redeemed Syhith?" the Admiral asked.
"Not necessarily, but they are heading that direction. Once you're truly redeemed, your lightsaber will turn to your natural color. It transitions over time. Gray or mauve to yellow. I don't really know when it truly turned purple. I'd hung it up for over a decade when I went into the carbonite. I tested it one last time just before I went in, and then it was..." With this she paused and looked at the Geh 'Dia guardedly but also sadly. "It was red." The Geh 'Dia shifted uncomfortably at that. Everyone there knew what red meant.
"The purple lightsaber hasn't been around in... over a million years" the Master said carefully. "There hasn't been a defection from Syhith to Geh 'Dia since... Sarih?"
"The treaty was made 5 million years ago, Master WAN."
     "What treaty?" Reva asked.
"The Geh 'Dia Syhith Republic Treaty. We all agreed to end everything and wipe the galaxy's memory of the war before we destroyed each other and ourselves."
"I sense a hole in the Force."
"Ah, ya, that would be me" The Colonel answered.
"How is it you're invisible to the Force?"
"I'm not from around here you might say."
"The Colonel here is from outside our galaxy."
     "Companion Besh?" she asked startled.
     "Further."
     "Cresh?!" she asked incredulous.
"Try not even a companion galaxy" the Colonel finally answered. "My home galaxy is hundred of billions of trillion light years away."
     "That's impossible."
"Nevertheless, it's true" the Al'verde insisted. "I've been there once, a few years ago."
     "How?!"
"That a lot of technical information you don't really need to worry about right now. We have a way of moving through space by bending it around our movement."
Reva sat dead faced. "So I'm your prisoner?"
"Well yes and no. The crimes you claim you committed were a long time ago. Whole species have come and gone it that time, so it's hard to judge your actions fairly. On the other hand you've freely confessed them, it's not like they didn't happen."
"Only the Geh 'Dia can rightfully judge me."
"Not exactly" Master WAN informed her. "The Galactiques rule now, they can judge you."
"And what does the Geh 'Dia say about me?"
"To be honest, we're not sure what do with you either. Like the Colonel said, your crimes were so long ago, we can't really judge you either."
"Reva, for now recover your strength enough to even think about being judged."
Over a year later Reva's strength had recovered; Her eyesight had returned, and her athleticism grew. She'd also been moved to "the yard," placing her outside the Rakatan Galaxy where her Force powers were useless.
"Well, Reva, I have news for you" the Colonel announce one day. She'd grown to kind of hate him, even as she admired him somewhat.
     "And what is that?"
"We have decided you are guilty of your actions all those millennia ago. We've also decided that punishment isn't appropriate per se. The Geh 'Dia have agreed to let the matter drop if you renounce your powers."
     "That's easier said than done."
"Not exactly. There is a way to divest yourself of most of your powers."
     Reva startled at this. "How?"
"A mind wipe. If you forget your have the powers, you can't use them or at least not effectively."
     "And if I refuse?"
"Nothing I can do about it. The absolute worst I could ever do to you is keep you here. You'd have liberty to go to the messdeck whenever you want, to use the gym, etc. That assumes we can even try you, and as it stands now that's unlikely to ever happen."
Reva sat there a long moment thinking. "How long do I have to decide?"
"Well I suppose until you die. Or the day before really."
     "Thank you Colonel."
After a week she came to the Colonel's office. "Ah. Reva, how can I help you?"
"About that mind wipe, how would it work?"
He stopped for a moment before gesturing towards a chair. "Please have a seat." As she sat he began. "The first step is you will sign a contract saying you want this. The day we start the process with you strapped into the machine you will record a video to yourself saying something to the effect that this is what you want and that you have to trust me, since I'll be there. From there, I lead you off to your new life."
     "Why would I want this?"
"As I said, it's the start of your new life."
"No, I mean the... the new me, what if I ask why did I do this?"
"Ah. Yes you'll want a believable story without knowing the truth. Have you given that any thought?"
No, but if you have any advice, I'm listening."
"You could tell you that you murdered some people and were sentenced to die. If you keep asking questions, I'll tell you that you were actually executed, that your victims witnessed it, they think you're actually dead and nobody is looking for you."
"I see... From a certain point of view you could say I did it over drugs and sex."
"Nice. We'll write that into your backstory. I recommend not saying 'too much' in the recording, you don't want breadcrumbs you can follow, especially since they will lead nowhere."
"Yes." After staring off for a moment she added "Give me the contract."
He pulled a pda from his desk and started tapping on it, then handed it over. "Put your thumb on the screen where it shows, then check the box." She did as instructed and handed it back. "You didn't read it."
     "I have to?"
"I would have if I were in your pos..."
"I don't need to. All I need is to know where not to go too close to. Where my victims might still recognize me."
He didn't respond to that. "I can schedule you for next week I think. Anything you might want beforehand?"
Reva chuckled slightly. "Can I get a million credits and a boob job?"
"The credits no, the boob job sure." Reva startled at that. "It'll delay the procedure a few weeks, but ya. What size do you want?"
"Double D's?" she asked, still surprised.
"I don't blame you. Standby a second" he answered, smiling a chuckle while picking up the phone. "Doctor, it's... Ah ok, well I have an urgent request for a boob job..." His tone changed from amused to annoyed. "Ya, do I understand doctor bu... Yes I kno... Ye... Doctor PLEASE, this isn't about m... Ok, I could ask Doctor SHELDON... Oh, well if you insist. Yes, I'll send her down right away... Excellent thank you." Hanging up he turned back to Reva. "Ok, head down to medical and meet with Doctor CRANE. She'll set you up. Do not let her annoyance get to you. She's less than happy that I called for something 'this silly, stupid and petty just to be a perve.' Let her be annoyed at me."
"Sorry. Didn't mean to get you in trouble."
"Forget it. I really don't fucking care, I've been called worse."
"Uhm, can I pick my new name?"
The Colonel lead back, a but surprised at the request. "Yes as long as it's not something crazy."
"Charlie. I mean, Charlene, but I go by Charlie."
The Colonel frowned in thought. "Sure. That's great. Any thoughts about a new surname?"
"No surname. I'll tell myself I never had one I knew of anyways."
"Very well. Anything else you might want to add?"
"Why are you being so accommodating?"
"If you help build this, then it is the truth. At some level at least. That thing about breast surgery, that helps a lot. Now we can tell you that you had plastic surgery to help hide your identity, and hey, look, it's true, see? You got bigger tits, an x-ray will prove that. You really did get plastic surgery, you'd have no reason to doubt that. You choosing your new name, that makes it true in your head already. I was surprised when you asked, normally I have to but great, good. You did that for me. That makes it that much more real to you."
"Oh." Reva sat up straight for the first time since he'd met her; "Yes. I am requesting my new name be Charlene, and that I get plastic surgery. Yes, this is what I want. I killed people over sex and drugs, I was stupid and selfish, and thank you Colonel for giving me this chance to make it right."
The Colonel took a deep breath. "It's my job" he answered, a hardness in his voice he hadn't expected.
"The boob job is part of my past, part of the sex and drugs. That's all that matters. Well, that and I go by Charlie. In fact, please start referring to me as Charlie from here on. I want to get used to my new name."
"Very well. You understand, not everyone will know for a while, and we'll all make mistakes..."
"Yes, of course. Just fix it quickly, that's all I ask."
"Very well. I'll get the message out as fast as possible, get your meal card updated, as much as I can. In the mean time, please wear a name tag that says 'Hi, My Name Is, My Name Is, Charlie...'"
"Why would it say it twice?"
The Colonel chuckled. "Forget about it. I'll have the cards ready for you by tomorrow morning. Try and wear the name tag all the time, it'll help people in your transition."
"Yes sir. In fact, each time someone calls me Reva because I forgot my tag, I wish to be whipped. One lash each."
     "I can't authorize that."
     "I can."
"I can overrule it, and I have. However, you can do a push up."
After the boob job "Charlie's" mood improved significantly. She was unaware of the procedure to harden her back in preparation for her new life, which was so much the better for her. "I'm actually kind of looking forward to the procedure. Well, not the procedure, but afterwards, you know. Starting this new life, free of whatever I have..."
"I don't blame you" Master VONN responded. "In your position I'd be coming up with something for the future. Maybe tell myself to become a stripper in some backwater."
"IS that all you think I'm capable of?" Charlie asked, an annoyed tone in her voice.
"You didn't have that" glancing at her chest "to hide dear."
Charlie stopped at that- She knew she'd been called out and while Sera might not be right to point it out she wasn't wrong to notice either. "Ok. Fair. But I thought maybe a librarian at some rim world. Oh, I wonder if I could get eye surgery so I'm a little nearsighted? Is there time to do that?"
"I'm afraid not" she chuckled "but nice touch."
"Uh, yes, actually there is, but I'd have to do it TOO-DAY. Also, I wouldn't recommend it. You can always wear the glasses, even if you don't need them." The doctor's voice came as a bit of a shock; Nobody had actually expected her to say much. "I can get you glasses that do make you look nearsighted, though."
"No, I think it's not worth the extra trouble. Thank you though."
The Colonel was waiting in the chamber. "All ready?"
Charlie took a deep breath. "Yes, yes I am." With that she sat in the chair and waited while the technicians strapped her down. She'd already been warned the process was uncomfortable, but was startled when the Colonel cut her arm. "HEY!"
"It's for the video. So you can show yourself it's all real. It's not that bad, and it's very REAL. You should still feel the pain after you come out if it."
     "You could have warned me."
     "You'd have flinched."
Still annoyed she turned her head towards the camera. "Hello Charlie," she began. "Honey please listen to me. You did something very bad a few years ago. You killed some people in a drug fueled rage while fucking 5 guys. Honey, we fucked up. We fucked up really bad. This is the alternative to the death penalty. The man to your right, you have to trust him. He's not our friend, but he is trying to help us. Look at your arm. It's cut. That's how you know this is all real. Colonel, you're going to get this treated right?"
"We'll bandage it just after this is done and before the..." but was interrupted by the doctor stepping in. "Oh, well there you go. We'll work on more cosmetic surgery afterwards."
"No, don't." She turned back to the camera. "Charlie, just let it heal and leave it. It's a reminder what you went through to get here, in case you forget. Trust the Colonel. Do what he says. Please honey, don't fuck this up. I went through too much to get this opportunity for you. Please take it. Colonel, is there anything else I should say?"
"No, I think that covers everything..."
"Oh, no wait. Charlie, you got a boob job honey. NEVER reverse it. It is part of what happened, but you went through too much to let go of that, either. Sorry sir, now I'm ready."
"Oh I agree. Yes, Charlie, we offered to reverse it and everything else in this process, you had every chance until this moment, you still have a few seconds to back out, but you've refused to. Ok, Charlie, are you ready?"
     "YES. Hurry up please."
"Ok. Doctor, when you're ready with the sedation..."
"Sedation? You didn't tell me about that."
"It make the process easier, and therefore safer."
     "It won't work on me."
"Well, give a chance. We're still rolling btw."
"Well, ok. Go ahead Doctor." The doctor injected the sedative and Charlie was out before it even finished injecting- A slight smile coming across her mouth.
"Well Charlie, your recovery has come along well. You've been here two months now, most people don't even need a full afternoon. Are you ready to begin your mission?"
     "Yes" she answered enthusiastically.
"Good. You'll be posing as a common slave. We've already arranged for your sale to the client. He's your target. Just collect the information, you don't need to worry about much. Just remember as much as you can long enough to record it."
"Yes. And thank you. This beats a death penalty."
"Don't thank me yet. There's still a lifetime of slavery ahead of you."
"I think I can handle that, sir. Hopefully he doesn't beat me too often."
"Do what you're told and it won't be that bad. Good luck to you."
